Getting an oil change at Full Circle Service Center can help change lives.
Full Circle Service Center is a subsidiary of Vehicles for Change (VFC), a nonprofit organization that awards working low-income families with donated cars. Our auto shop is unique because it is a social enterprise that gives the community the opportunity to be an active participant in changing lives just by bringing their vehicle in for service.
Full Circle provides affordable prices and a labor rate that is almost 30 percent less ($69.99) than most repair shops in the area. Funds generated from the Full Circle directly support the mission of Vehicles for Change to empower families with financial challenges to achieve economic and personal independence through car ownership and technical training.
The VFC Maryland Training Program
The Full Circle Service Center training program is an automotive reentry internship which gives trainees the opportunity to get hands-on and classroom instruction during the course of the internship students will test to receive their ASE certifications afterward, they will receive job placement with partner employers as well as other employment resources. Former graduates of the program have been employed by dealerships, trucking companies, and national auto repair shops.
Upon completion, graduates are connected with automotive job opportunities.
Some of our most notable graduates include:
Christopher White is now a full-time employee at Antwerpen AutoWorld in Randallstown, Maryland. While training at Full Circle, White was able to sharpen his skills as an auto technician as well as a team leader. White was also awarded a car through VFC’s recipient program.
Former trainee, Chris Mathias, is employed as a service writer for Vehicles for Change. He was promoted to a full-time position with the organization after training in the service department at Full Circle.
